“Trade Up with Toshiba” Lets Users Trade in Legacy Toshiba Business Telephone Systems for New IP and Cloud Systems at Significant Savings
IRVINE, Calif., August 5, 2014—Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division (Toshiba — www.telecom.toshiba.com) today announced its new “Trade Up with Toshiba” program, enabling trade-in of legacy Toshiba business telephone systems for new Toshiba IP and cloud business telephone solutions at significant savings. Users of Toshiba’s legacy Strata® DK, Strata CTX and Strata CIX™ systems can trade up to Toshiba’s VIPedge® cloud-based business telephone solution as well as Toshiba’s IPedge® and Strata CIX670/100 on-premises business telephone systems. Available through select Authorized Toshiba Dealers, the “Trade Up with Toshiba” promotion runs through Sept. 30, 2014.

Toshiba is offering four “Trade Up” programs:
1. Trade Up to VIPedge Cloud-based Telephone Solution
When users trade up to Toshiba’s VIPedge cloud-based business telephone solution, they get free IP telephones for each Toshiba EKT, DKT or IPT1000/2000 series phone traded in. New VIPedge customers can get model IP5531 telephone at just $49.99.
2. Trade Up to IPedge On-premises, Pure-IP Telephone System
When users trade up to Toshiba’s IPedge on-premises business telephone system, they get up to 50 percent off the purchase price of an IPedge user license with Toshiba’s award-winning Call Manager unified communications solution for each Toshiba EKT, DKT or IP1000/2000 series telephone traded in.
3. Trade Up to Strata CIX670 On-premises, Converged-IP Telephone System
Users of legacy Strata CTX systems can trade up to Toshiba’s Strata CIX670 on-premises, converged IP business telephone system and receive $50 Trade-In credit for each Toshiba EKT, DKT or IPT1000/2000 series phone traded in towards the purchase of a new Toshiba 10- or 20-button DP5000 business telephone.
4. Trade Up to Strata CIX100 On-premises Converged-IP Telephone System
Users of legacy Strata CTX systems can trade up to Toshiba’s Strata CIX100 on-premises, converged IP business telephone system and receive $25 Trade-In credit for each Toshiba EKT, DKT or IPT1000/2000 series phone traded in.

Get Five New IP5000 Phones for the Price of Four
Toshiba has made it simple to get the latest in IP technology by offering five IP phones for the price of four. For use with IPedge and Strata CIX business telephone systems, telephone models available for this promotion are IP-5531-SDL-SPC5, IP-5531-SDC-LIC5, IP5622-SD-SPC5 and IP5622-SD-LIC5. The telephone promotions are available through Sept. 30, 2014.

Among the Industry’s Longest Business Phone System Warranties
Toshiba offers one of the longest manufacturer’s warranties in the business telephone industry. Toshiba’s Value Plus warranty program offers a two-, three- or five-year manufacturer’s warranty on Toshiba’s IPedge systems plus up to seven-year warranties on Toshiba’s IP5000 series telephones. Toshiba also offers up to seven-year warranties on Strata CIX business telephone systems.
Recycling of Old SystemsSystems that are traded in become the property of the Authorized Toshiba Dealer. Authorized Toshiba Dealers are responsible for having systems recycled in a timely manner in accordance with all applicable laws, including using R2 or e-Steward certified recyclers.
