SIP Trunking Partners
Toshiba’s Strata CIX IP systems’ SIP Trunking capability gives users ISDN-like features over a data connection without the need to buy separate services for voice and data. In addition, using Toshiba’s SIP Trunking capabilities allows enterprises to have increased calling capacity on the same bandwidth.

Key SIP Trunking product features and benefits include:

  1. Offers ISDN-like features over a data connection
  2. Eliminates the need to buy separate circuit cards for voice and data
  3. Potentially eliminates the need and cost of a separate service
  4. Eliminates “wasted bandwidth” of unused PRI channels
  5. Allows bandwidth to be used for data when no calls are active
  6. Offers ability to host other services in addition to SIP Trunking, including IP Stations, SIP Stations, Toshiba’s Strata Net IP, Voice Mail and ACD resources

Since SIP Trunking capabilities work over businesses’ IP networks, it can potentially eliminate the need and cost for separate services such as T1, ISDN PRI or multiple analog lines. It can also allow businesses to expand their IP reach beyond premises to remote locations as well as remote and mobile users.

Compatible with Toshiba’s full line of Strata CIX IP business communication systems, Toshiba’s SIP Trunking capabilities are three interface units and compatible with the following carriers:

American Broadband Services (ABS) is an International business-to-business ISP & Hosted VoIP/PBX and SIP/IP trunking solutions provider based in Fresno, Calif.

VoIPZone® IP Trunking from ABS allows users to have access to the telephone networks across the United States and Canada via many different IP network services, including T-1, xDSL, and MPLS networks, enabling voice and data services to be carried simultaneously over the network, dramatically simplifying the customer’s network requirements.  The Toshiba-ABS SIP Trunking service gives Toshiba Strata CIX IP system users ISDN-like features over a data connection without the need to buy separate services for voice and data. Further, this allows for remote teleworkers along with the delivery of out-of-market DIDs and automated disaster recovery.
